Then Add your choice of cams

Camshafts for Hemi-powered Chrysler vehicles dramatically increase engine horsepower and torque, yet with programming, retain compatibility with all OEM vehicle computer system components

If you happen to own a newer 5.7L Hemi using the gas mileage mode called MDS cylinder disable, such as a 2006 Ram, Jeep GC, Charger, Magnum and the Durango, and want to increase the performance of your Hemi, then there are a few things to address. Number one, if a camshaft is chosen higher than the special MDS lifters can handle, then the vehicle will not perform as expected. These cams are designed to work with your 5.7L MDS car or truck.

The First cam Available is the Comp 260H XFI cam 208/212 .522/.525, this "small" cam laid down 346 RWHP in our Charger RT with our heads

2nd is the Frank racing Sidewinder cam 212/212. 525/525

3rd is the KRC 212 LX Hemi 212/216-490/493 .

Next we have the 268H XFI cam 216/220 .528/.531, this cam laid down 374 RWHP (a 103 RWHP GAIN over stock!!) in our Charger RT with our heads and suporting mods from the Stock base line

Next are the Non MDS cams, on 5.7L MDS cars your MDS lifters must be changed to NON-MDS lifters to use the following cams

Have a SRT-8 6.1L? no lifter changes, or block off plugs needed to run these cams in the 6.1L motors seeing how thy are non-MDS to start with.)

Next is the Frank Racing Littleboy cam, 214/218, 565/555, this cam with our Ported heads and other suporting mods laid down 383RWHP and 400 RWTQ in Jim Edwards 5.7L 300C

Then there is the Frank Racing Fatman cam, 218/218, 570/555

Then the Comp XFI-273 non-mds cam. 224/228 with .547/.550 lift. Matt Monett's 2007 SRT-8 Charger put down 451 RWHP with our heads and this cam. A gain of 92 RWHP from the cars best stock dyno pull of 359 RWHP on the same dyno.

Big News for 6.1L SRT-8 owners, with our heads, and the comp XFI268 "small" cam we have seen gains of 75HP and 76 FT/lb of TQ AT THE WHEELS with no other changes from the base line. The 268 cams idles and runs grate in the 6.1L's with no tuning needed, just bolt on the heads/cam and go have fun with your new found power!

Congratulations to Jim Edwards, his Dynamic Racing heads/cam powered 5.7L 300c At running 12.9@107.7mph UNCORRECTED at alitude! Good job Jim!

Congratulations also to Mark Bevilacqua, his Dynamic Racing heads/cam powered SRT-8 Jeep At running 12.2@109.9mph Good job Mark!
