Roswell, NM (12-09-2001)

Best time as of yet for Matt Monett (it probably wont last long!) -- This video shows Matt blazing to a 10.88 at 129.19 MPH (the fastest MPH of any 3000GT/Stealth, and the worlds quickest ET for a Dodge Stealth) Spark blowout problems did not allow Matt to run higher then 18psi on the NOS.

Here is another record setting run. This video shows Matt shattering the worlds quickest and fastest no NOS 3000GT/Stealth record by almost 4 tenths of a second. This run was done at 3600 ft. elevation, and this is the uncorrected time. Spark blowout did not allow Matt to run more then 22psi of boost without the NOS. The car is setup to run 30psi of boost.

Here is another 10 second pass. Very good times for the low boost setting and alot of wheelspin!

Forced Performance Texas DSM Shootout (2001)

This video is from the 2001 Forced Performance Texas DSM Shootout. With a fixed fourth gear and a slipping clutch, Matt was able to better his times to an 11.009 at 128.75 MPH. Matts times were second only to an all out gutted race car eclipse that ran less then a tenth faster at the event. Proving that a full street car Stealth/3000GT can hang with the big dogs, despite the failing clutch.

DSM Shootout (2001)

On the way to the DSM shootout Matt stopped at Terry Bossermans place. This is just a nice friendly get together with the Bossermans. We decided to get low buck in its first race. What better way to christen the car, then spanking a viper in a race from 0-150.

This video is of the 2001 DSM Finals. Matt took the win with an 11.57 at 117.6. The car had no fourth gear and was riding the rev limiter in third gear for the last part of the track. DSM Shootout victory, not bad for Project Low Bucks first trip to the dragstrip.

Older Movies

Here is Matt Monett in his Pearl White 1993 RT/TT Dodge Stealth. This car had a very short list of mods. This run is the only time Matt ever ran this car at sea level. This run was filmed at Houston Raceway Park. This race is vs. an LS1 Fbody. The Fbody gets the jump out of the hole, but it doesnt take long to reel him in and teach him a lesson! This pass netted an 11.9 letting off at the end, and a warning not to run another 11 second pass (no cage) or he would not be allowed to run anymore.

Here is another video filmed at Houson Raceway Park. This race is vs. a 99 Viper RT/10 with every Mopar bolton available at the time.  Matt ran an 11.7 vs. the Vipers 12.2 -- Matt let off at the end in hopes of not getting kicked off the track. Thanks to his previous antics and another faster 11 second run, his luck ran out and he got booted anyway. Oh well, not bad for just having driven the car 980 miles to the track and still having luggage in the back! The visit to Houston was for the Third Coast Meet, 2000! Many 3si owners were in attendance at the races for the nights fun!
